Terms and Conditions
ADventureCamper AS, Follafossvegen 54, 7790 Malm, company number 934624033, VAT number, operates a rental service where businesses and consumers can rent vehicles and equipment for their own use by ordering and picking up the vehicles and equipment online. The service also includes membership offers that provide benefits to those who need equipment more frequently.
1 General
These Terms and Conditions apply to the rental and sale of goods and services from www.ADventureCamper.no to businesses and consumers. These Terms and Conditions, together with your order, constitute a comprehensive purchase agreement.
2 Definition of Parties
The lessor or seller is: ADventureCamper AS and is hereinafter referred to as we, us, lessor, or ADventureCamper.
Renter is: The person specified in the order as the renter or buyer, hereinafter referred to as the renter, customer, you, your, or your.
Rental items include vehicles and their accessories/equipment, and everything else rented on ADventureCamper.no.
Delivery methods/service points refer to delivery or drop-off at the company location or other specified pick-up locations.
3 Payment, Deposit, and Prices
Payment is made online by Visa or Mastercard through our payment processor DIBS, which meets the strictest security requirements. The renter pays upon booking, and the rental agreement is deemed concluded.
AdventureCamper AS follows standard rental practices and may also retain a deposit amount upon ordering or picking up, which is stated on the order receipt. This deposit protects the company in the event that the customer returns the rental item late, damages it, or does not deliver it at all. The amount of the deposit varies depending on the selected rental item and is listed in your order confirmation. AdventureCamper AS reserves the right to use the deposit to cover the rental and other aforementioned costs and/or any recourse, see section 5 below.
All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. The total purchase price will be communicated prior to ordering and includes all costs associated with the rental or purchase. Should there be significant errors in the prices on the AdventureCamper AS website, AdventureCamper AS may unilaterally change, cancel, or reject orders, even after the customer has received an order confirmation or similar. However, such errors must be corrected within a reasonable period of time after the error has been discovered, and the customer must be informed accordingly.
4 Condition of the Rental Items
AdventureCamper AS is committed to providing high-quality rental items in working order. AdventureCamper AS has its own routines for inspecting and maintaining rental items before and after rental.
During the rental period, you are responsible for any damage or loss to the rental item. A liability exclusion may apply if the damage is due to technical errors or defects. The renter is therefore obliged to inspect the rental item before use and to contact AdventureCamper AS if the rental item is not in the expected condition.
5 Damage
Any damage, technical malfunctions, or accidents that occur during the rental period must be reported immediately to AdventureCamper AS. We will then do our best to assist the renter. Damage must be reported immediately to info@ADventureCamper.no. This also applies in the event of theft.
If the damage is due to misuse, intentional misconduct, or negligence, AdventureCamper AS may use the previously reserved deposit and, if applicable, deduct any outstanding amounts to cover the costs of repair, maintenance, or replacement of equipment. This also applies if the rental item is returned in poor condition or is delivered with a level of dirt beyond normal service.
We always strive to provide you with the best advice and tips regarding the use of the rental item, but we are not liable for the service or for any direct or indirect damage or loss resulting from the use of the rental item, delays, or defects in the rental item.
6 Use of the Rental Equipment
Use of the rental equipment is at your own risk. The person driving the vehicle must be over 21 years old.
The renter is responsible for ensuring that the vehicles, equipment, and accessories are used in a manner that prevents them from becoming damaged or unreasonably dirty. The proper and safe use of the rental equipment is the renter's responsibility. The rental company facilitates the proper use of the rental equipment by providing operating manuals, instructions, and safety notices along with the vehicle and/or on the rental company's website. It is the customer's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the rental company's usage and safety procedures before using the equipment.
They must also follow the instructions for vehicles, accessories, and equipment, as well as other instructions from AdventureCamper AS.
7 Accessories
Accessories must generally be purchased or rented separately when ordering the vehicle and selected according to the requirements of the renter. The website also describes what is included with the rental equipment. Personal accessories or consumables are not rented. Section 12, Right of Withdrawal, applies to sold and unused accessories.
8 Rights and Obligations of the Renter
The renter must be 18 years old (the driver of the vehicle must be 21 years old) and is required to provide correct customer information when creating a user account in order to book and rent on AdventureCamper.no. AdventureCamper AS will send messages to the specified email address, address, and telephone number, and such messages are deemed received and valid upon dispatch by us.
The user account is personal, and if you suspect that others have access to your account, you are obligated to notify AdventureCamper AS immediately. AdventureCamper AS reserves the right to refuse, terminate, or suspend user accounts without prior notice or liability, even if these terms and conditions are deemed to have been violated.
Furthermore, these rental terms and conditions must be accepted on the website before booking.
The renter must return the rental item before the agreed date and time and at the agreed return location. The renter is expected to inform themselves about the regular opening hours of the service center.
The renter or cardholder authorizes AdventureCamper AS to make credit card charges for, among other things, unreturned, excessively dirty, damaged rental items, and toll invoices. This authorization also applies to the authorization to charge the payment card for additional rentals/compensation claims if the rental item is returned after the agreed rental period or with errors or defects.
If the return of the vehicle is delayed by more than one hour compared to the agreed rental period, the lessor is entitled to an additional daily rental fee plus a surcharge of currently NOK 500 to cover the additional costs incurred by AdventureCamper AS due to the late return. If the rental item is not returned within one day, Company Name is entitled to a refund of the agreed daily rate, provided the rental item is actually available to the renter and has not been returned.
9 Changes to the Order
To change an order, AdventureCamper AS must be contacted. Changes will only become effective once we have confirmed them in writing. This is to ensure that the rental units are actually available. Unless otherwise agreed and confirmed, the rental unit must be returned at the agreed time. The rental period can be extended before the start of the rental period and/or during the rental period by changing the rental start or end date.
Changes and cancellations to rental units that result in changes to the availability of the rental units for other users may incur a change fee to cover rebooking costs. The rebooking fee can amount to NOK 1,500 per day. All costs will be disclosed to the renter before the booking or change to the booking.
10 Delivery and Return
Delivery and return will take place in the manner, at the location, and at the time specified in the order confirmation. You will also find this information on your invoice. We are responsible for the rental equipment until you have taken possession of it, i.e., until you have taken possession of it. Your booking reference is required for the handover of the rental equipment. The name you provide when making your reservation must match the name on your ID card upon collection.
If the availability of a vehicle is delayed, we will inform you as soon as we become aware of it, whether and, if so, when it can be made available.
You are responsible for the rental equipment until it has been returned to us or our service centers.
Upon receipt of the vehicles, we check their condition, functionality, and completeness. Upon return of the vehicle in full and in accordance with the contract, the deposit will be refunded within two weeks.
11 Membership
Membership entitles you to discounts and other member benefits. Both private individuals and companies can be members, but the person who registers is legally responsible and the contracting party.
Membership is automatically renewed until canceled by the renter. Cancellation is done on the account page by canceling the subscription. The membership then expires for the current period and ends thereafter.
12 Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal gives you the right to cancel your purchase. The right of withdrawal only applies to purchased goods, not to rental vehicles. The right of withdrawal requires that you notify us within 14 days of booking (see the Right of Withdrawal Act https://lovdata.no/dokument/NL/lov/2014-06-20-27).
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the rental must start later than two weeks after booking.
